New: holland-doc nomination for short documentary "hunt and play"

Mudcastle Productions is a small company that specialises in audiovisual and academic output, such as documentaries and research consultancies. Thematically, the focus is on migration, environment, development, livelihood and indigenous knowledge. Geographically, the focus has been on Ghana, Africa.

Mudcastle Productions has created a widely screened and award-winning documentary about a traditional poultry farmer in Ghana (Shit and Chicks). A second short documentary, called "Hunt and Play" (8 minutes) was completed in 2009. At present I am working on two shorts and a longer documentary. The working titles are: "Roof Party" (10 minutes), "Fish and Chicks" (15 minutes) and "Kontana Kontana" (50 minutes).

Mudcastle Productions has also carried out a research consultancy for a EU-funded project on environmentally enduced migration (EACH-FOR).
