Instructions

In this short experiment, you'll be asked to repeatedly pick one of four decks of cards such as the ones displayed below:

You can select one of the decks of cards by pointing and clicking the button below the deck of your choice with your mouse.

With every card you pick, you can win i-bucks ("Iowa Gambling test dollars" — $_i), but you can also lose some. The trick is that some decks will be more profitable than others. Try to choose cards from most profitable decks. In this way, your total earnings in i-bucks will be as high as possible.

You will get 100 opportunities to select a card from the deck that you think will give you the highest revenue. Your performance (current earnings) and your advance in the experiment will be displayed on screen.
